Toolio Product Updates: March 25th, 2025

Reporting Beta Now the Default for New Assortment Plan!

We’re streamlining your reporting experience! For all tenants using New Assortment Plan, Reporting Beta is now the default page.

What’s Changing?

  • No more duplicate menu items – The previous “Reporting” and “Reporting [Beta]” options are now consolidated (if it was enabled for you).
  • A single, seamless experience – The “Reporting” menu will now directly open the latest version.

This update simplifies navigation and ensures you’re always using the latest reporting capabilities.

Duplicate Dashboard

We’re making it easier than ever to manage your dashboards in Toolio! You can now duplicate entire dashboards with just one click.

How It Works:

  1. Enable Editing Mode
  2. Click on the three dots (⋮) menu
  3. Select ‘Duplicate Dashboard’

Formulas for Derived Metrics in Assortment Plan Reporting

We’re excited to introduce a new enhancement to Assortment Plan Reporting (beta)! You can now easily view the formulas behind Derived Metrics directly in the UI.

Simply right-click on any derived metric, and the formula will appear at the top of the context menu. This update provides greater transparency into how your metrics are calculated, helping you analyze and interpret data.

Row Height & Font Size Adjustments

You can now adjust the Row Height and the Font Size that you have for all your grids on Toolio. This allows users to get data in a more compact way and to see more data at once. This is controlled under Settings > General Settings. See here to learn more.

"Green Run" button on New AP

We’re excited to bring the Green Run Button feature—previously introduced in Reporting [beta]—to our Planning page!

With this update, instead of processing a request for every individual input change, all modifications will be bundled and sent only when you click the Green Button. This improvement enhances usability, making adjustments to line planning configuration smoother and more efficient.

"Self" on ROS Model

We’re excited to introduce a new "Self" checkbox option under Filters in the ROS Model! This enhancement allows filters to dynamically reference their own choice ID, simplifying ROS configuration and improving efficiency.

What’s New?

  • A "Self" checkbox is now available in the Filters section, enabling a filter to reference its own choice ID directly.
  • When the ROS Model is copied to other choices, the "Self" reference will automatically be applied, ensuring the correct choice ID is applied to each instance.
  • This dynamic behavior helps maintain accuracy and eliminates the need for manual adjustments when copying models.

Split Purchase Orders by Warehouse

We're excited to announce a new enhancement designed specifically for retailers managing multiple warehouses. Recognizing that retailers often rely on several warehouses—each chosen for its geographical proximity or tax advantages—we’ve built a solution that simplifies and optimizes purchase order management.

In order to use the functionality, first you need to define your Warehouse Split Profiles under Settings and then apply this selection on Recommended Purchase Orders where this release introduces a new intermediary step: Step 2. Then system will apply the split based on the ratios defined on Split Profiles with the new Purchase Order numbers for the selected Destination Locations.
