Toolio Product Updates: January 10, 2023

Data Visualization

Have you ever wanted to be able to visualize your metrics in Toolio? Now this is available through the Visualize module. All you need to do is click on the Visualize button on the top right and select your metrics. You can select as many metrics as you like as well as different format of metrics like percent vs units vs currency. On your view, your metrics maybe in the column or row, does not matter, we support both metric selections. You can change the chart type to Line, Bar/Column, Histogram, Area or Scatter/Bubble per your needs. In addition, you can save/export the chart for your presentations or other needs.

Multiple plan in Merchandise Plan

Toolio offers you to configure and maintain multiple independent plans at different time and attribute granularities in addition to your merchandise plan. Each of these plans can be reconciled with each other at any point. Some of the use cases be creating a Finance Plan on the Gregorian Calendar, creating a Store plan with Location level granularity on retail calendar, or Day Level Plan on retail calendar.

Day Level Plan

Day level plan is a plan in Merchandise Plan that has fewer attributes, but gets down to day level granularity. This would be especially useful if your sales have inner-week spikes and you might want to align those spikes to your marketing calendar.

Export Settings for Automated Plan Exports

We’ve added a subsection within the Settings menu dedicated to Export Settings! Similar to how you are able to utilize the Import Settings to monitor and view your import mappers, configurations, & settings, you can now do so with the new Export Settings subsection.

Under this section, you’ll find your Exporters & Export Mappers where you can view your configured exports and their respective mappings. Stay tuned - we will be continuing to introduce improvements to the Export Settings in the coming weeks!

Ability to Add Custom Derived Metrics

Ever wanted to add our own derived metrics directly to MP & IP? Now you can by simply navigating to your Settings > Metrics menu. This allows you to easily define the formula and add a new derived metric (a metric that calculated from other existing metrics). Once added, you can navigate to your metric selector and add them directly to any view in MP & IP for use with all variants.

NetSuite Status in Assortment Plan

To help make the NS Item and PO creation process easier in Assortment Plan, we’ve added Status fields for both Inventory Item & Purchase Order creation. This allows you to quickly track the NetSuite generation status of your assortment plan lines without having to leave your assortment.

For each Assortment Plan line, you can see whether the Inventory Item or Purchase Order has been ‘Generated in NS’ (all components generated successfully), ‘Generated with Errors’ (some, but not all components were generated successfully), ‘Failed’ (failed to generate due to errors), or ‘Not Created’ (NetSuite generation has not been run).

Ability to Test Shopify Credentials

When configuring new integrations, you can now test your Shopify credentials directly in Toolio to ensure that there will be no errors with your scheduled feeds.

Ability to Set Last Sync Time

If you’ve ever needed to trigger an integration to pull data from a specific date forward, you can now do so directly via your Settings > Integration menu by setting a Last Processed At Date and triggering the integration.
