Reconcile Item Plan and Merchandise Plan
In Item Plan, you now have the ability to easily reconcile against your Merchandise Plan. Clicking on the three dots on the top right of the grid will show the option to Reconcile Merchandise Plan. Checking this box will expose a new variant for MP to compare directly in Item Plan for your planning attributes.
Customize Assortment Name
In Assortment Plan, you now have the option to add a custom name for your Assortment. This update gives you more control of the names you see on the Assortment Summary page. To update the name, drill into an assortment and click the pencil icon.
Returns Rate in Item Plan Forecasting
When generating a forecast in Item Plan, we’ve expanded capabilities for Returns Rate Calculations. Now you have the option to select Sales Percentage as the Returns Calculation, under the Advanced menu. Selecting this option will generate the returns forecast by pulling the Returns Rate % directly from Merchandise Plan, respecting any planning attributes you’ve selected.
Default Forecast Week in Item Plan Forecasting
With this release the Time Frame on the Item Plan Forecast menu will automatically be set to start in the first plannable week displayed in the View. For example, if you are set to view all of 2021 but the current week is Week 27, the Time Frame start date will be set to Week 27.
Planning Inventory & Receipts in Item Plan
Previously in Item Plan, inventory values were only automatically updated when running the Receipt Generation process. With this update, you are now able to run Generate Inventory from Receipts or Generate Receipts from Inventory to update either plan accordingly. Check the line items you would like to generate plans for and select either function. The box will display to confirm the number of items and the Time Frame. To update the Time Frame, adjust the dates in the View.
