A New Way to Find Toolio Product Updates
To keep users informed about the latest product enhancements, Toolio has added Canny integration to the UI. Product update emails and monthly blog posts will also continue.
Good Weeks in ROS Calculations
Toolio can now automatically consider Good Weeks during the ROS calculation, filtering out any historic 'Bad Weeks' with insufficient inventory from being considered in your ROS calculations. A 'Good Week' is defined as any week where inventory was available to sell, i.e. any week where BOP Units+Receipt Units+Transfer Units > 0. Consequently, a 'Bad week' is defined as any week where no inventory was available to sell, i.e. BOP Units+Receipt Units+Transfer Units = 0. Please note that this evaluation takes place at the Location x Week x Choice granularity during ROS Calculation.
Please read more about calculated ROS here, and please reach out to your Toolio Customer Success team to enable or disable Good Week considerations from your ROS Calculations.
Extended End Date
The Extended End Date feature allows you to project inventory levels beyond the planned end date of a choice. This ensures comprehensive inventory visibility, even after the original demand and receipts projections have concluded. Here’s how it works:
Demand and Receipts Projections:
- Inventory projections are initially based on the original planned end date, determined either by Planned Weeks or manual input.
- Beyond this date, even if there are no active sales or receipts plans, the system continues to project inventory based on remaining stock.
Projection Period:
The extended projection runs until the earlier of:
- 1.5 years from the launch date (or today if the product is already in season).
- 1 year beyond the original planned end date.
Handling Linked Choices:
For products with multiple linked choices, where gaps exist between launch dates:
- The Extended End Date for the current choice will align to one day prior to the next choice’s launch date.
Why It Matters: The Extended End Date feature ensures you have a clear understanding of your inventory trajectory, accounting for any leftover stock and bridging the planning gap between product choices. This minimizes inventory surprises and aids in smoother transitions across product lifecycles.

Excluding a Location from a Cluster
By default, all locations are assigned to a cluster. To exclude a specific location, simply deselect the 'Included' checkbox—this will remove it from both the cluster and the selected Automated Cluster Group.
